couple of the year for letting me live out my full creative potential. “Dress prepared to get in the water” was all I needed to tell them and they were down for anything! Elle had me laughing way too hard the whole time. As we drove home from the lake, we began talking theology, discussed core beliefs, shared scripture, and acknowledged questions we have about Christianity, which was so so special to me. I’m proud of these photos, I actually think some of my best work came from this session, but all of that would be meaningless without the opportunity to really SEE this couple, to know them, to hear them, and to share a bit of Christ & His love with them. The photography thing is so fun but the opportunity to serve and build relationships with people (friends or strangers) is what keeps me pursuing this.
